Mehiläinen Seinäjoki

Mehiläinen Seinäjoki is located in the center of Seinäjoki, right next to the Railway Station, in the Citypiha shopping center. The entrances to the facility are from Kauppakatu, the corridor of the shopping center Citypiha, and Ruukintie.

Arrival by car: 

• From the south: Turn from Liberty Road at Blood Service Seinäjoki onto Kauppakatu. Mehiläinen Seinäjoki is located at the end of Kauppakatu. 

• From the north: Turn from State Street onto Kaleva Street. From Kaleva Street, turn immediately left onto Farmer Street and from the end of this street left onto Kauppakatu, where Mehiläinen Seinäjoki is located. By car, the easiest access to the Citypiha parking lot is from Farmer Street. 

Parking: Customers can park either at the Citypiha shopping center's parking lot at Farmer Street 3 or along the street. Parking is chargeable, and payment methods include cash and credit cards at the payment machine, as well as parking apps EasyPark and ParkMan.

Arrival by taxi or accompanier's car: Taxi and accompanier's car can stop at Kauppakatu 1, where it is the shortest distance to the door and to the medical center. Parking is chargeable at this location.

Arrival by public transport: The train station is located right next to Seinäjoki Mehiläinen. From the train station, you can reach the facility by crossing Ruukintie. If arriving by bus, you can get off at the bus stops at Mannerheim Park, Lyseo Park, or Torikeskus. From these bus stops, it is about 200 meters walk to Mehiläinen.

Arrival by bicycle: You can arrive at the facility by bicycle from the Citypiha parking lot side (Farmer Street 3) or from Ruukintie. There are bicycle racks on both sides.

Accessible entrance: Mehiläinen Seinäjoki can be accessed without barriers from both the Citypiha shopping center and Kauppakatu. Both entrances have ramps, and there are no stairs. The doors are not automatic, but through the elevator between Oral and Mehiläinen, which can be opened by pressing a button, you can also enter the first floor. The second floor can be accessed through automatic doors from the roof parking and by elevator.

Elevator accessibility: The facility has one elevator, which is relatively small, but it can accommodate a wheelchair and strollers.

Accessible restrooms: There is an accessible restroom on both floors of the facility, which are clearly marked.

Signage: There are clear signs and maps indoors.

Lighting: Indoors, there is sufficient and even lighting that does not cause glare.

Waiting area seating: The waiting areas have seats of various heights and types.

Mobility options: There is enough space to move around, for example, with a wheelchair. The consultation rooms have wide entrances, but small thresholds, which can still be crossed well with a wheelchair. Our service advisors assist you on the 2nd floor and guide visually and hearing-impaired customers.

Assistive devices: Wheelchairs and walking sticks are available for loan. These can be found at the cashier services on the 2nd floor.
