It is recommended to conduct the test at least 4 weeks after stopping the use of contraceptives.

Luteinizing hormone (LH) is a hormone secreted by the pituitary gland that affects the production of sex hormones. It influences estrogen and testosterone levels and fertility. The test is taken at the beginning of the natural menstrual cycle (days 3-5 of the cycle). It is recommended to conduct the test at least 4 weeks after stopping the use of contraceptives.

Progesterone, also known as the corpus luteum hormone, is important for a woman's fertility. It enables the onset of pregnancy and protects the normal progression of pregnancy.

Prolactin (PRL), or the milk hormone, is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland.

Note! The use of anti-inflammatory drugs should be avoided a couple of weeks before the test, as they can distort calprotectin results by giving a false positive result.
